5-15 - Comstock 0 - Battle Creek Central 4
One of our best played games of the season. We lost Kayonna Bailey to injuries after the last game. 11 girls tonite, started and ended the game playing with only 10. Temps in the high 80’s the girls were exhausted and never gave up! They showed a lot of grit and determination. Aubrey Bevin played in the goal for 60 minutes and made many great saves.
5-7 - Comstock 1 - Bangor 7
Taylor scores her 4th goal of the year! Again time in goal split by Lydia Martinez and and Aubrey Bevin, both keepers improving their skills every game played. Lacey Couch is a strong midfielder and defender. Tough games with 12 girls.
5-2 - Comstock 0 - Hopkins 13
Our roster is reduced to 12 active players for the rest of the season. Hopkins came out on top however very proud of our team as they played down often as times we had 2 on the bench due to injury and girls just needing a break.
5-1 - Comstock 0 - South Haven 4
0-4 called at Halftime due to thunder. Girls played 30 minutes of good soccer against the “A” team of South Haven.
4-28 - Comstock 0 - Hartford 9
The girls played hard tonite and fell to a talented Hartford squad. Score was 0-9, holding them to only 3 goals in the second half. The girls never gave up or hung their heads, they played hard until the final whistle.
4-25 - Comstock 1 - South Haven 3
The girls are playing hard and improving every game. Lydia played her best game in the goal so far this year!
4-21 - Comstock 1 - Bangor 2
The girls came ready to play tonite! Scored in the first 3 minutes of the game. Score at half was 1-2 and they held that score until there was 6 minutes left in the game. Defense played amazing in the second half up to that point shortening the field and allowing us to maintain possession. Lacey Couch is a strong point in our midfield. Lydia stopped her first penalty kick. And then 6 minutes hit and to say we were tired would be an understatement. They scored 4 goals in the last six minutes after we possessed the ball most of the half. I couldn’t be prouder of these girls. Wish we had just a couple more!
4-16 - Comstock 0 - Bloomingdale 2
Started off a little slow with Bloomingdale scoring 2 in the first 5 minutes. Tightened it right up for the next 54 :)
4-11 - Comstock 0 - Hartford 7
4-14 - Comstock 1 - Parchment 2
Our game today was a 1-2 loss, with that 2nd goal of theirs being an indirect free kick on the 6 yard line. None the less a great game and the girls scored and had many scoring opportunities.
