Sports Boosters


The mission of the Comstock Athletics Booster Club is to organize individuals and business leaders in the Comstock community in an effort to provide support for all athletic programs in the Comstock Public School District, instilling pride in the young athletes of Comstock and providing them with one of the top high school athletic programs in the State of Michigan.

If your child is an athlete in the Comstock Public School system, an alumi of Comstock High School, or you just want to get involved with the Comstock athletic programs, please contact one of the members below or come to our next meeting.

The Boosters meet on the first Monday of every month of the school year (August - June) at 7:00PM. If the first Monday of the month is a holiday, the meeting is moved to the following Monday unless otherwise posted.

Meetings are held at the high school in room 109 near the front office, unless otherwise posted.

Meeting agendas are emailed to the officers prior to each meeting. You may contact any one of the booster officers for a copy of the meeting agenda.

Anyone who is a resident of the Comstock Public School District may attend meetings and be involved. Parents of athletes are encouraged to attend. There is no membership fee to belong to the boosters, just your regular attendance to meetings and your commitment to serving the needs of Comstock's Athletic Programs.

Members are nominated for officer positions during the April meeting. Elections are held during the May meeting. Anyone wishing to be nominated to an officer position must attend at least three meeting during the school year (August - March) in which the election is to be held.

The Comstock Athletics Booster Club operates as a subordinate organization under the supervision of the Comstock High School Athletics Director, the Superintendent of Schools,and the Comstock Board of Education.

The Comstock Athletic Booster Club operates asa non-profit organization.Donations that require a 501C3 status can be made to the Comstock Foundation in the name of the Comstock Athletic Booster Club.

2010 - New Scoreboards for the NEMS Gymnasium:
The Athletics Boosters, along with the help of a generous donation from Bub Sherwood Automotive, purchased two new scoreboards and wireless controllers for the gymnasium at Comstock Northeast Middle School to replace the original scoreboard that was installed in 1972. Cost $11,500

2008 - Landscaping in Comstock Stadium
After the construction of the new Comstock Stadium in 2008,CD Lawn and Maintenance came in and provided all the beautiful landscaping around the scoreboard and concession areas of the stadium. Hats off to Chris Danials and his crews for an awesome job. Cost of this project, priceless!


2008 - Advertising Sign Panels on Scoreboard
After the construction of the new Comstock Stadium in 2008 the boosters expanded the size of the stadium scoreboard with the addition of the advertising sign panels to display the businesses and organizations that contribute and support Comstock Athletics. Cost $8,500

2005 - Replacement of High School Facility Scoreboards
The boosters purchased new scoreboards for Comstock Stadium, the varsity gymnasium, as well as the baseball and softball fields. A large portion of this project was made possible with generous donations from MidLink Business park and Meijer. Cost $65,000.

2002 - Stadium Concession Building
The athletic boosters took on the challenge to replace the original concession stand in Comstock Stadium built in 1966. Costs to construct and furnish the building was over $30,000, not including donated materials and labor.
