8-11

10-19 - MHSAA District Quarter - Comstock 1 - Delton-Kellogg 2

The boys played one of their best soccer games of the year and came up short against a team they lost 4-0 too earlier this year.  On a very windy day, the Colts took a 1-0 lead in the 1st half off of a Mubark Hasan goal assisted by Garrett Green.  The boys were able to continue to play great soccer into the 2nd half before giving up a goal with about 20 minutes to play.  The boys continued to work hard and had several opportunities but couldn't cash in at the net.  The Panthers scored their 2nd goal of the game with about 7 minutes to go and that is the way it finished.  Mason House had his best game of the season making several key saves to keep things close.

10-15 - JV Scrimmage - Comstock 0 - Allegan 0

The young Colts had to wait through a 2 hour storm delay before taking the field.  The boys play hard but found it tough to score against the Allegan boys.  Things stayed close with Evan Veenhuis in goal in the 1st half giving up only 1 goal.  Teague Roellchen and Dino Sivley played with a lot of hustle and determination.

10-14 - Comstock 1 - New Buffalo 2

The Colts again controlled most of the game but came up short in the end by none other than a scored goal off a corner kick.  The Colts got on the board first with a goal by Evan Veenhuis assisted by Seth Ansel.  From there, New Buffalo was able to squeak by a 20 yd shot and then with 7 minutes to go in the game, they were able to score on a corner kick.  The boys passed very well tonight and Kyle Moore played extremely well in the back.

10-12 - Comstock 1 - Lake Michigan Catholic 3 OT

The Colts controlled most of the game getting on the board first in the 2nd half on a goal by Seth Ansel off an assist from Garrett Green.  A quick counter attack tied the game up before overtime was necessary to decide the game.  In the 2nd OT, the Colts hat trouble covering 2 corner kicks which decided the game.

10-9 - Comstock 0 - Coloma 4

The Colts played a game that was a lot closer than the score.  It was a very windy day that made it difficult for both teams to attack against the wind.  Corner kicks continue to be a struggle to defend for the Colts.

10-7 - Comstock 5 - Maple Valley 1

The Colts traveled to Maple Valley for a Division 3 match up and came out victorious 5-1. Mubark Hasan scored his 3rd hat trick of the year scoring off an assist from Garrett Green and 2 solo goals.  Evan Veenhuis also scored 2 goals both off of assists from Mubark Hasan.  The team did a great job defending with Kyle Moore and Jesse Mortimer leading the way.

10-5 - Comstock 3 - Parchment 1

The Colts nearly had another shutout this season but Parchment was able to score with 1:30 left to go in the game.  Mubark Hasan had quite the evening tonight.  It was as if the ball was hooked to his boots.  Mubark Hasan had a had trick tonight off of assists from Branden Willis, Seth Ansel and Evan Veenhuis.  Kyle Moore and Mason House both played their best game of the year thus far on defense and in goal.

10-1 - Comstock 6 - Cassopolis 4

This was quite the game.  No doubt Comstock was the better team but the weather conditions were not that great and all kinds of crazy things happened.  Cassopolis scored the first goal of the evening and then Connor Kent came through with a beautiful chipshot off an assist from David Thomas to go into halftime with a 1-1 tie.  After halftime, Cassopolis again took a 2-1 lead before Evan Veenhuis scored on an assist from Connor Kent and then Evan Veenhuis scored again off an assist from Mubark Hasan to give Comstock a 3-2 lead.  Then Cassopolis scored 2 goals to give Cassopolis a 4-3 lead.  Then Connor Kent scored his 2nd goal of the game off of a steal from the keeper.  Then Evan Veenhuis scored his 3rd goal of the evening off of an assist from Seth Ansel to make it a 5-4 game.  David Thomas then finished off the scoring by shooting a full volley shot in the upper left corner off an assist from Garrett Green.

9-28 - JV Scrimmage - Comstock 0 - Schoolcraft 1

The Colts came out and gave great effort throughout the game but it wasn't enough to win a JV scrimmage vs Schoolcraft.  Branden Willis, Marcus Cannon, Bernardino Sivley, Fernando Plascencia and Victor Plascencia all had good games for the Colts.

9-25 - Comstock 0 - Delton-Kellogg 4

The Colts came out a bit sluggish and had a tough time marking up on the outside today.  The score doesn't indicate how close of a game this should have been.

9-23 - Comstock 0 - Bridgman 8

The Colts came out with a game plan to play a more defensive game and it backfired on us.  The boys played way too much defense throughout the game instead of looking for opportunities to attack.

9-16 - Comstock 1 - Brandywine 3
