2-22 - MHSAA Individual Regionals at Constantine

The Varsity Men's Wrestling Team travelled to Constantine on Saturday to compete in individual regionals. Brandon Bavin finished in 2nd place, advancing him to the Individual State Tournament at Ford Field on March 6th. Congratulations Brandon! 

2-15 - MHSAA Individual Districts at Constantine


The Varsity Men's Wrestling Team travelled to Constantine Saturday to compete in the individual district tournament. Brandon Bavin took 1st place and will advance to individual regionals next Saturday. Congratulations Brandon and the rest of the team on an outstanding season! 


2-8 - BCS Conference Meet - 3rd Place

The Varsity Men's Wrestling Team Competed in the BCS Conference Tournament Saturday. Brandon Bavin and Robbie Sivley took 1st place. Jacob Rooney, Markeyis Boland, Stanley Young, Mason Meach, and Logan Saokho each finiahed in 3rd place. The team finished 3rd in the tournament. The team finished the season 3rd in overall standings. Congratulations to Brandon Bavin on breaking the school's all time career win record with 136 wins and counting. The previous record of 133 wins has stood since 1989. Great job Colts! 

2-5 - Comstock 31 - Parchment 33

The Men's Wrestling Team competed in their final BCS Conference dual of the season Wednesday night at Parchment High School. The Colts fell 31-33. Winning their matches for Comstock were: Jacob Rooney, Ryan McGrail, Markeyis Boland, Logan Saokho, Brandon Bavin and Robbie Sivley. Congratulations to Brandon Bavin, who scored his 133rd career win Wednesday night. Brandon has tied the school record for career wins, and will look to break the record this Saturday in the BCS Conference Tournament. Good luck to all Comstock Wrestlers this weekend. 

1-29 - Comstock 24 - Brandywine 51
1-29 - Comstock 24 - Buchanan 60


The Men's Wrestling Team competed in a BCS Quad Wednesday night at Buchanan against Niles-Brandywine and Buchanan. They fell to Brandywine 24-51, and then to Buchanan 24-60. The Colts were led by Brandon Bavin and Robbie Sivley, who each went 2-0 on the night. The team's next match will be at Parchment next Wednesday at 6:00 pm.  

1-22 - Comstock 42 - Benton Harbor 12
1-22 - Comstock 60 - River Valley 6


The Men's Wrestling Team was home last night against River Valley and Benton Harbor. The team started the night defeating Benton Harbor 42-12. Later in the evening, the team defeated River Valley 60-6. The Colt's are now 3-1 in conference matches. This Friday they compete in a tournament at home.

The Men's Wrestling Team competed in two BCS Conference duals Wednesday Night at Lawrence High School. The team started out strong with a 42-12 victory over Berrien Springs. The team ended the night falling to Lawrence 24-48. The Colts were led by Jacob Rooney, Stanley Young, and Brandon Bavin, who each went 2-0 on the night. The team will compete this Saturday in the Comstock Team Tournament.

The Men's Wrestling Team competed in the Parchment Super Duals last weekend. The team came up short against Edwardsburg 18-60. The team then fell to Hartford 30-38. In the third match of the day, the Colts fell to Central Montcolm 21-54. This was followed by a loss to Gull Lake 12-71. The Colts finished the day with a victory of Parchment that went down to the 6th tiebreaker criteria. Brandon Bavin finished the day with a perfect record of 5-0. Jacob Rooney and Robbie Sivley each went 4-1 on the day. 

1-9 - Comstock 42 - Galesburg-Augusta 43
1-9 - Comstock 28 - Loy Norrix 47


The Men's Wrestling Team traveled to Galesburg-Augusta Thursday night for two non-conference matches against G.A. and Loy Norrix. The Colts fell to Galesburg 42-43 after 6 tie-breaker criteria. The team then fell to Loy norrix 28-47. The team was led by Jacob Rooney, Ryan McGrail, Mason Meach, and Brandon Bavin, who each went undefeated on the night. This Saturday the team will travel to Parchment to compete in a team tournament.
